Rate My Dating Profile: Get a 0–100 Score

How strong is your dating profile, really?

A 0–100 score for your whole profile — your photos, bio and prompts — split into five parts, with the one change worth making first. Not an attractiveness score, and not a prediction of matches.

What the Profile Score measures

Five parts, each built from fixed checks on things you can change. The example above shows how they add up: the overall score weighs the parts, so it isn't a simple average.

01

First impression

Whether your lead photo is your strongest, shows your face clearly, and whether your first line says something only you would write.

02

Photo strength

Whether your face is clear across the set, the photos show more than one side of your life, and the light and focus work.

03

Profile clarity

Whether someone can tell what you're looking for, the text is easy to read, and it's framed by what you want.

04

Personality

Specific details rather than general traits, examples rather than adjectives, and a voice of your own.

05

Conversation potential

Whether there's an easy hook to reply to, prompt answers that leave room for a reply, and photos worth asking about.

A score you can check

  • 17 fixed checks, all on things you can change
  • Every check quotes your own words or names the photo it is based on
  • MAX gives each check a verdict; the number is calculated from those verdicts with fixed weights
  • Nothing about your looks, body, age, religion or orientation counts, and what you want from dating is never marked down
  • A re-check judges again only what you changed, and shows which checks moved

Frequently asked questions

What is a dating profile score?

A 0–100 snapshot of how clearly your whole profile works as a first impression, split into five parts: first impression, photo strength, profile clarity, personality and conversation potential, with what to fix first.

What does ProfileMax score?

17 fixed checks on things you can change: which photo leads, whether your face is clear, how specific your words are, whether someone can tell what you're looking for and whether there's an easy way to reply. It never scores looks, body, age, religion, orientation or what you want from dating.

How is the number calculated?

MAX, ProfileMax's AI, gives each check a verdict and quotes the words or names the photo it is based on. The number is then calculated from those verdicts with fixed weights. If you check again without changing anything, you keep the same score; a re-check judges again only the parts you changed.

Is the Profile Score free?

Your first Profile Score comes with your free Photo Check: the score, its five parts and the first fix. Every check with its evidence and fixes comes with that check's Profile Makeover or with MAX Pro, and re-checks after you change your profile are part of MAX Pro.

Does a higher score guarantee more matches?

No. The score reviews clarity and presentation. It can't predict another person's interest or guarantee matches.

Is this the same as the Photo Check?

No. The Photo Check tells you which photo should lead and up to three ways to improve the set. The Profile Score adds your bio and prompts and looks at the whole profile.

What happens to my profile text and screenshots?

The text you confirm is saved to your account so you can come back to your score, and you can delete it any time. Screenshots are read and deleted; contact details in them are left out.
