ProfileMaxAccessibility Statement
We want everyone to be able to use ProfileMax, including people with disabilities. This statement explains how the website and the app are made accessible, what we know still falls short, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the level Israeli Standard 5568 requires under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 2013. This statement covers the website (getprofilemax.com) and the ProfileMax app for iPhone and Android.
2. What we have done
- The website can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline, and each page starts with a "Skip to content" link.
- Pages and app screens use headings, landmarks and labels for screen readers (VoiceOver and TalkBack in the app). Buttons, fields, photos and charts have text descriptions.
- Changes on the screen, such as an upload's progress, a reply from MAX or an error, are announced to screen readers.
- Text meets the contrast ratio the standard asks for, and the pages work when text is enlarged to 200% or the browser is zoomed. In the app, text follows the phone's text-size setting.
- Decorative animations stop by themselves within a few seconds, and all animation is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The site has no time limits on reading or filling in forms.
We check the pages with automated accessibility tests and by using them with a keyboard, and we review accessibility when we change a screen.
3. Known limitations
- Photos you upload have no text description of their content; they are named by their position ("Photo 3").
- Replies written by MAX are generated by AI. Their wording and formatting can vary, and they may occasionally be less clear than text we write ourselves.
- Payment by PayPal or card, and sign-in with Google or Facebook, take place on those companies' own pages and windows. Their accessibility is their responsibility.
- On a few screens of the app (the introduction and the plan picker), text grows with the phone's text size only up to a limit, so the artwork keeps its layout.
If something here or anywhere else gets in your way, please tell us and we will help you complete what you need another way.
4. Contact us about accessibility
To report an accessibility problem, ask for information in another format, or ask for help, email info@getprofilemax.com with "Accessibility" in the subject, or . Please tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser or assistive technology you use.
